A cleanout which conforms to the Uniform Plumbing Code, as adopted by reference in NAC 445A.9592, must be installed between each building drain and each sewer line which leads to an on-site sewage disposal system. The cleanout must be located within 3 feet of the structure, or as close as practical if the design engineer determines that it cannot be placed within 3 feet of the structure. At least one additional cleanout must be placed for every 100 feet of sewer line, and at least one additional cleanout must be placed for each aggregate change in the direction of the sewer line in excess of 90 degrees.
