Section 444.778 - Purpose

1. The purpose of NAC 444.750 to 444.8396, inclusive, is to protect the health of the individual family and the community and to prevent the occurrence of nuisances by safely disposing of all human and domestic wastes.
2. To accomplish satisfactory results, these wastes must be disposed of so that they will not:
(a) Contaminate any drinking water
supply.
(b) Create a public health
hazard by being accessible to insects, rodents or other possible carriers which
may come in contact with food or drinking water.
(c) Create a nuisance due to odor or
unsightly appearance.
(d)
Contaminate any body of water.
(e)
Violate laws or regulations governing sewage disposal.
