Section 444.00809 - Provision of aftercare instructions to client; contents

1. Written aftercare instructions regarding the proper care of the invasive body decoration must be provided to each client following the invasive body decoration procedure.
2. Aftercare instructions must include, without limitation:
(a) The name, address and
telephone number of the invasive body decoration establishment and the name of
the invasive body decoration operator who performed the invasive body
decoration procedure;
(b) A
detailed description of how to care for the area of the body on which the
invasive body decoration procedure was performed, including, without
limitation, a description of any necessary cleaning and bandaging;
(c) Possible side effects from the invasive
body decoration procedure;
(d)
Directions on when to consult a physician, including, without limitation, signs
of an infection or allergic reaction; and
(e) The expected duration for
healing.
