INVASIVE BODY DECORATION ESTABLISHMENTS
Permitting and General Requirements for Operation
Section 444.00797 - Conditions for operation of temporary or mobile establishment; maintenance of client release forms; provision of aftercare instructions

The holder of a permit to operate a temporary or mobile invasive body decoration establishment must:
1. Have convenient access to handwashing facilities with pump soap, paper towels and hot and cold water under adequate pressure and tempered by a mixing valve or combination faucet;
2. Have wastewater disposal in accordance with local plumbing codes within the temporary or mobile establishment;
3. Have a minimum of 45 square feet of floor space within the procedure area;
4. Have at least 50-foot candles of light at the level where an invasive body decoration procedure is being performed;
5. Have the ability to properly clean and disinfect the procedure area and all surfaces;
6. Use instruments which:
7. Maintain a copy of the client release form for each person who receives an invasive body decoration procedure performed during the event as required by section 45 ; and
8. Provide written and verbal aftercare instructions to a client after performing an invasive body decoration procedure as required by section 47 .
