Chapter 433 - ADMINISTRATION OF MENTAL HEALTH AND MENTAL RETARDATION PROGRAMS
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION OF MENTAL HEALTH TECHNICIANS
Section 433.070 - Purposes of vocational and educational program

1. The vocational and educational program established by the Division pursuant to NRS 433.279 will be designed to provide the training necessary for a mental health-mental retardation technician to:

(a) Obtain certification from the Division;

(b) Attain the status of a permanent employee; and

(c) Receive a promotion.

2. The Division will not approve a course or program for credit toward certification if it determines that the course or program is not appropriate for the purposes stated in subsection 1.
