Facilities That Provide Care for Ill Children
Section 432A.565 - Director of facility: General duties

The director of a facility that provides care for ill children shall:
1. Provide a child with activities during the day that meet the needs of the child, including:
(a) Activities that take place inside or
outside and which are consistent with the developmental level, ability and
physical condition of the child and the plan of care for the child;
(b) Rest and relaxation;
(c) Eating and drinking; and
(d) Toileting and personal hygiene.
2. Modify the plan of care for each child daily.
3. Monitor the records completed by staff.
4. Notify a parent of his or her child's progress.
