Additional Requirements for Certain Types of Facilities

1. In addition to satisfying the requirements of NAC 432A.200, an applicant for a license to operate a facility for special events must:
(a) Have and indicate in his or
her application for a license to operate the facility for special events a
permanent physical location for the business where the records concerning the
facility will be maintained.
(b)
Submit to the Division an application for a license to operate the facility for
special events for each special event for which child care will be provided by
the facility for special events, which must include written approval from the
owner or operator of the premises of the business at which the special event
will be held and at which child care will be provided. The application must be
filed with the Division at least 60 working days before the date on which the
special event begins and must include:
(1) The
appropriate fee as prescribed in NAC 432A.200;
(2) The name of the special event and the
address at which the special event will occur;
(3) The square footage and a diagram of the
specific area in which child care will be provided;
(4) A copy of the contract which will be
provided to the parent of a child who will receive care provided by the
facility for special events;
(5)
The plan for the program of care for the children who will receive child care
provided by the facility for special events, which must be broken down by the
age groups of the children who will be served by the facility and the ages and
number of children to whom child care services will be provided; and
(6) A copy of the statement that will be
provided to each parent of a child who receives care provided by the facility
for special events which indicates that the members of the staff of the
facility may have varied levels of training and experience.
2. A license to operate a facility for special events issued by the Division must include a statement indicating that the members of the staff of the facility may have varied levels of training and experience.
3. The Division shall not renew a license to operate a facility for special events.
