Section 424.815 - Access by provider of family foster care to information maintained by licensing authority concerning provider

1. For the purposes of NRS 424.047:
(a)
A provider of family foster care must submit his request for information to the
licensing authority in writing on a form provided by the licensing authority.
The licensing authority shall set a date and time, which must be not more than
30 days after the request is received by the licensing authority, for the
provider to inspect the requested information. The provider must provide the
licensing authority with a form of identification that contains his photograph
before the licensing authority shall allow the provider to conduct the
inspection.
(b) "Information" does
not include any matter which is made confidential by state or federal statute
or regulation, except that the licensing authority shall identify confidential
records concerning a provider by designating the category or source of the
record or, when practicable, provide summaries of confidential records
concerning a provider which omit the confidential portion of those
records.
(c) "References" includes
any personal opinions concerning a provider which are communicated to the
licensing authority.
2. A provider of family foster care shall not remove from the records maintained by the licensing authority any information to which he is provided access pursuant to NRS 424.047.
