Chapter 391 - EDUCATIONAL PERSONNEL

The Superintendent of Public Instruction may issue an endorsement for middle school or junior high school education pursuant to NAC 391.111 or an endorsement for secondary education, for a field in academic education described in subsection 1 of NAC 391.1301 or a single subject in academic education described in NAC 391.131, pursuant to NAC 391.125, to a person who:

1. Holds a valid elementary, secondary or special teaching license, a valid license to teach special education, a valid license to teach middle school or junior high school education or a valid license to teach pupils in a program of early childhood education; and

2. Has passed, at the level of competence specified by the Commission, a competency examination approved by the Commission on the subject matter of the field of specialization or area of concentration.
