MODEL CODE OF ETHICS FOR EDUCATORS
Section 391.627 - Annual training on Code by school districts and charter schools

1. The board of trustees of each school district and the governing body of each charter school must, on an annual basis, provide training on the Nevada Model Code of Educator Ethics adopted by the Commission by NAC 391.625 to teachers, administrators and other persons employed by the school district or charter school pursuant to NRS 391.2056.
2. The training provided pursuant to subsection 1 must:
3. A teacher, administrator or other person employed by the school district or charter school shall be deemed to have completed the training required by subsection 1 if he or she:
4. Professional development, continuing education and other training completed pursuant to subparagraph (1) of paragraph (a) of subsection 3 may be provided by a school district, employee organization or regional training program for the professional development of teachers and administrators.
5. The Department may request from a school district, charter school or employee of a school district or charter school any records necessary to confirm that an employee of a school district or charter school has completed the training required by subsection 1.
