Section 390.260 - Use of calculators on examinations

1. Except as otherwise provided in this section, calculators may not be used by pupils taking any examination in mathematics described in NAC 390.320.

2. A pupil may use a calculator while taking the Nevada Criterion-Referenced Examination in Mathematics if the pupil is enrolled in a program of special education pursuant to NRS 388.417 to 388.515, inclusive, and the pupil's individualized education program specifies that the pupil may use a calculator for assessment purposes.

3. A pupil may use a calculator while taking a portion of the Nevada Criterion-Referenced Examination in Mathematics if the Department has specified that a calculator may be used while taking that portion of the examination.
