Section 389.644 - Skills to obtain employment: Contents

A pupil participating in a course of work and study shall:

1. During each semester, work for an employer participating in the course of work and study for at least:

(a) One hundred eighty hours; or

(b) Three times the number of hours that the pupil would be in class if taking a course for which he or she would receive an equal number of hours of credit to the number of hours of credit being received for the course of work and study, whichever is greater.

2. Provide the teacher of record designated pursuant to NAC 389.648 with documentation of the number of hours worked A pupil who meets the requirements of this section shall be deemed to be in full attendance for all documented hours worked
