LIMITATIONS ON PARTICIPATION

1. At least 2 years before the beginning of each season of a sanctioned sport, the Board shall establish the date upon which:
(a) The first game, contest or meet may be held for that season;
(b) A school may begin tryouts for that season; and
(c) A school may begin practicing for that season.
2. The dates established pursuant to subsection 1 must allow for a minimum of 10 days of team practice to be completed before the first game, contest or meet for the season.
3. A season of a sanctioned sport ends upon completion of the state tournament for the sanctioned sport.
