Section 293C.060 - Publication of notice designating offices for which candidates are to be nominated or elected

The city clerk shall, not later than February 15 of the year in which a primary or general city election is held, publish once in a newspaper published in his or her city a notice that designates the offices for which candidates are to be nominated at the primary city election and the offices for which candidates are to be elected at the general city election. If no newspaper is published in his or her city, the publication must be made in any newspaper of general circulation in the city that is published in his or her county or, if none, that is published in the nearest county of this State.
