Section 286.030 - "Consecutive months" interpreted; average compensation not prorated

For the purposes of NRS 286.551 and 286.650:

1. The Board interprets "consecutive months" to mean those months, one following the other, in which some compensation is reported or service credit received, whether or not any actual work is performed.

2. When calculating average compensation, the compensation which is reported will not be prorated to reflect the portion of the month which the reported compensation represents.
