1. Except as otherwise provided in subsection 2:
(a) The maximum amount of repayment of
student education loans that a provider of health care may receive under the
Program is $120,000.
(b) A provider
of health care who is applying for, has received or may receive at any time any
repayment or forgiveness of student education loans from the Nevada Health
Service Corps or any other source is eligible to receive repayment of student
education loans under the Program in an amount not to exceed
$120,000.
2. A provider of health care may not receive repayment of student education loans in an amount that exceeds the balance due on the provider's student education loans.
