Chapter 16 - INCIDENTAL AND INTENTIONAL UNDERGROUND WATER STORAGE
Section 457-16-004 - NOTICE

Upon receiving a completed application for incidental or intentional underground water storage and recovery, the Director or Director's designee shall prepare a notice of the application. As a minimum standard, the notice shall include the name of the applicant and the proposed area of recharge. The notice shall be published once a week for three consecutive weeks in a newspaper of general circulation in each county containing lands involved in the application, and a newspaper of general circulation in Nebraska. The notice shall state that any person may file a written request for a hearing (or, if the Director is holding a hearing on his own motion, may file a written request to be made a party to the hearing) within two weeks from the date of final publication of the notice.
