Section 251-4-008 - PERMANENT PLATES ARE NOT TRANSFERABLE

A permanent plate shall be issued to a specific active vehicle solely for use by the person, registrant or motor carrier making the original application for registration of the active vehicle. If the active vehicle is deleted, subject to loss of possession, transfer of ownership, or title has transferred by operation of law, the permanent plate issued pursuant to the original application shall not transfer and shall cease to be active.
