Current through March 20, 2024

Neb. Rev. Stat. § 60-6,209 provides an avenue for persons currently under a fifteen-year license revocation for a driving under the influence conviction to apply for a reprieve of the revocation. The statute permits such persons to file an application with the Department of Motor Vehicles not more often than once per calendar year. Upon receipt of the application and application fee, the Department will act on the application by making a recommendation to the Board of Pardons. These rules and regulations govern the application and the recommendation process. The Board makes the ultimate decision and is not bound by the Department's recommendation. These rules and regulations do not govern the Board's decision making process.
