Section 237-8-001 - Alcohol to State Institutions

001.01 By reason of Section 2 of Article VIII of the Constitution of Nebraska, State Institutions under the jurisdiction of the Board of Control of the State of Nebraska or other Departments of the State, may purchase alcohol from manufacturers and/or distributors duly licensed in this state, and possess and use the same for non-beverage purposes only in such institutions, without having first obtained a nonbeverage user's license or any other license or permit; and that sale and delivery of alcohol direct to such state institutions, created by Statute, may be made by such manufacturers and/or distributors, provided they keep such records and accounts thereof as are provided by law in the case of sale or delivery of alcohol to licensed nonbeverage users.
