Section 210-26-002 - Application of Nebraska Attorney General Model Rules for Practice and Procedure

The Nebraska Department of Insurance follows the Model Rules adopted by the Attorney General for regulations and procedures governing hearings on contested cases, declaratory orders, petitions for rulemaking, and petitions for negotiated rulemaking found at 53 NAC 1 through 53 NAC 5, unless specific statutes or regulations require a different procedure or standard in particular circumstances. These regulations shall not create a right of appeal or right to contest an agency action which is not specifically authorized by statute or these regulations.
