Section 471-16-007 - PRESCRIPTION REFILLS

Prescription refills must be performed and recorded in a manner consistent with existing State and Federal laws, rules, and regulations. Automatic refills are not allowed. All prescription refills must be initiated by a request from the prescriber, client, or an authorized representative. If the client is residing in a facility, a nurse or other authorized agent of the facility pursuant to a valid prescriber's order may initiate the request for refill.
