The Nebraska Aid to Dependent Children (ADC) Program is governed and funded by state and federal sources. Title IV-A of the Social Security Act governs the Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) federal block grant program which partially funds Aid to Dependent Children. See also Nebraska Revised Statutes (Neb. Rev. Stat.) §§ 43-501 through 43-517 and various sections in chapters 45, 61, and 68 of Nebraska Revised Statutes.
