For the purposes of these regulations, definitions in Neb. Rev. Stats. §§ 81-637 through 81-640 and the following definitions apply:
002.01 ONE-CENT CONTRACTS AND GRANTS. One-cent contracts and grants means contracts and grants awarded by the Department pursuant to Neb. Rev. Stat. § 81-638(1).
002.02 PRINCIPAL INVESTIGATOR. Principal investigator means the person who directs a research project or program and is responsible for the management of the research.
002.03 TWO-CENT CONTRACTS AND GRANTS. Two-cent contracts and grants means contracts and grants awarded by the Department pursuant to Neb. Rev. Stat. § 81-638(2).
