Section 180-7-042 - POSSESSION OF SURVEY INSTRUMENT

A licensee authorized to use radioactive material for uptake, dilution, and excretion studies must possess a portable radiation detection survey instrument capable of detecting dose rates over the range of 1 µSv (0.1 mrems) per hour to 1000 µSv (100 mrems) per hour. The instrument must be operable and calibrated according to 180 NAC 7-030.
