006.01 All wells, treatment and storage facilities, and other appurtenances necessary for the continued operation of a public water system must be located:
1. To protect against damage or breakdown as
a result of floods, fire, earthquakes, or other natural disasters to the
greatest extent possible, and
2. To
prevent contamination of the drinking water by existing sources of pollution to
the greatest extent possible.
