Section 173-6-001 - SCOPE AND AUTHORITY

These regulations are enacted pursuant to Neb. Rev. Stat. §§ 71-502, and 81-601 et seq. and apply to the exercise of authority by the Department to order Directed Health Measures necessary to prevent, limit, or slow the spread of communicable disease, illness, or poisoning.

Nothing in these regulations precludes the Department from requesting voluntary compliance with beneficial health measures.
