Section 172-94-004 - PROVISIONAL CERTIFICATE AS A MASTER SOCIAL WORKER

To obtain a provisional certificate, an individual must submit a complete application provided by the Department and provide documentation demonstrating that the applicant meets the certification requirements of Neb. Rev. Stat. § 38-2129, 172 NAC 10, and this chapter.

004.01 EDUCATION. The applicant must submit an official transcript, submitted directly from the issuing institution, verifying completion of a masters' degree in social work. The degree must have been completed at an approved educational program set out in 172 NAC 94007.05.

004.02 SECOND PROVISIONAL. An individual who does not complete the required 3,000 hours of supervised experience in Nebraska may apply for another provisional certificate. No additional provisional certificates will be issued to an applicant after the issuance of a second provisional certificate.
