Section 172-34-004 - HAND CLEANLINESS

Licensees, students, and clients must comply with the following cleanliness procedures.
004.01 LICENSEE AND STUDENT HAND CLEANLINESS. Every licensee and student must:
(A) Wash his or her hands thoroughly with
liquid soap and water or an instant hand sanitizer before serving each
client.
(B) If wearing gloves
during a service, they must be free of tears or holes and the gloves must be
changed upon contamination.
004.02 CLIENT HAND CLEANLINESS. If the client is receiving nail technology services, every client must thoroughly wash his or her hands with liquid soap and water or an instant hand sanitizer before receiving services.
