Chapter 8 - AREA PERMITS

The area permit may authorize the permittee to construct and operate new injection wells and/or mineral production wells within the permit area provided:
003.01 The permittee notifies the Director no later than the date on which monitoring reports are required to be submitted under Chapter 20 of this Title, pursuant to a procedure which shall be specified in the area permit, when and where the new well will be drilled;
003.02 Plans and specifications are submitted with notification and approved by the Department;
003.03 The additional well satisfies the criteria in section 001 of this Chapter and meets the requirements specified in the area permit under section 002 of this Chapter; and
003.04 The cumulative effects of drilling and operation of additional injection wells and/or mineral production wells are considered by the Director during evaluation of the area permit application and are acceptable to the Director.
