Chapter 20 - MONITORING REQUIREMENTS
Section 122-20-001 - General

001.01 Samples and measurements taken for the purpose of monitoring shall be representative of the monitored activity.

001.02 The permittee shall retain records of all monitoring information, including all calibration and maintenance records and all original strip chart recordings for continuous monitoring instrumentation, copies of all reports required by the permit, and records of all data used to complete the application for the permit, for a period of at least five (5) years from the date of the sample, measurement, report or application. This period may be extended by request of the Director at any time.

001.03 The permittee shall retain all records concerning the nature and composition of injected fluids until five (5) years after completion of any plugging and abandonment procedures specified.

001.04 The owner or operator is required to deliver the records upon request by the Director at the conclusion of the five (5) year retention period.

001.05 Records of monitoring information shall include

001.05A The date, exact place, and time of sampling or measurements;

001.05B The individual(s) who performed the sampling or measurements;

001.05C The date(s) analyses were performed;

001.05D The individual(s) who performed the analyses;

001.05E The analytical techniques or methods used;

001.05F The results of such analyses; and

001.05G A copy of the sampler's Quality Assurance/Quality Control plan, including but not limited to results and information from analyses of field blanks, trip blanks, and duplicate samples.
