Subchapter 37.97.1 - General Requirements
Rule 37.97.154 - YOUTH CARE FACILITY (YCF): CARE AND GUIDANCE

(1) A YCF shall provide to each youth sufficient staff to ensure:
(a) appropriate
care, supervision, safety, treatment, and guidance;
(b) opportunities for educational, social,
and cultural growth through suitable reading materials, toys, activities, and
equipment; and
(c) opportunities to
associate with peer groups in school and community settings.
(2) A YCF shall ensure cooperation with the placing agency in:
(a) participation
in case conferences; and
(b)
arranging for contact with each youth's family unless there are documented
safety reasons for restricting contact.
(3) When the placement has been made by the parent, the provider shall be responsible for assisting withreferral for support services.
(4) The provider shall assist the youth and, when appropriate, the youth's family in preparing for the youth's discharge from the YCF.
