(1) Abortion clinics must have a quality assurance program that:
(a) is ongoing;
(b) is data-driven;
(c) is broad in scope;
(d) addresses clinical and administrative
issues as well as actual patient outcomes;
(e) has a defined set of quality improvement
goals and objectives;
(f) actively
seeks patient feedback, evaluates complaints and suggestions, and works to
improve patient satisfaction;
(g)
includes the active participation of the medical staff; and
(h) respects the health care rights of all
patients, including the right to privacy.
