Rule 24.8.212 - INFORMAL INVESTIGATION BY THE DEPARTMENT

(1) The Human Rights Bureau has the authority to gather sufficient information to allow a thorough scrutiny of the circumstances surrounding complaints of discrimination through an informal investigation. The investigation shall be conducted in a fair and impartial manner. The Human Rights Bureau will utilize methods such as written information requests and telephone and personal interviews to obtain information in the course of the informal investigation.
