Rule 24.301.401 - INCORPORATION BY REFERENCE OF NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODE

(1) The department adopts and incorporates by reference the National Fire Protection Association Standard NFPA 70, National Electrical Code, 2020 edition referred to as the National Electrical Code, unless another edition date is specifically stated. The National Electrical Code is a nationally recognized model code setting forth minimum standards and requirements for electrical installations.
(2) Subsection 210.8 (A),Dwelling Units, is amended to delete 250-volt receptacles.
(3) Subsection 210.8 (B), Other than Dwelling Units, is amended to delete 250-volt receptacles.
(4) Subsection 210.12, Arc-Fault Circuit-Interrupter Protection, is amended to delete all references to "kitchen" or "kitchens."
(5) A copy of the National Electrical Code may be obtained from the National Fire Protection Association at www.nfpa.org/NEC.
