Rule 24.174.713 - CONTENTS OF TRAINING COURSE

(1) A pharmacy technician training course must include instruction in:
(a) orientation to the practice of
pharmacy;
(b) pharmacy terminology
and basic pharmaceutics;
(c) state
and federal laws relating to the practice of pharmacy;
(d) pharmaceutical calculations;
(e) processing prescription drug
orders;
(f) telephone procedure and
communication including taking refill requests;
(g) pharmaceutical compounding;
(h) intravenous admixture, if applicable;
and
(i) use of pharmacy computer
systems, if applicable.
