Rule 24.174.1009 - COMPLIANCE

(1) Each out-of-state mail service pharmacy shall comply with the following:
(a) all statutory and regulatory requirements
of the state of Montana for controlled substances, including those that are
different from federal law or regulation, unless compliance would violate the
pharmacy drug laws or regulations of the state in which the pharmacy is
located;
(b) all statutory and
regulatory requirements of the state of Montana regarding drug product
selection laws, unless compliance would violate the laws or regulations of the
state in which the pharmacy is located;
(c) labeling of all prescriptions dispensed,
to include but not be limited to identification of the product and quantity
dispensed;
(d) all the statutory
and regulatory requirements of the state of Montana for dispensing
prescriptions in accordance with the quantities indicated by the prescriber,
unless compliance would violate laws or regulations of the state in which the
pharmacy is located.
