Rule 17.24.311 - AIR POLLUTION CONTROL PLAN

(1) For all strip mining operations with projected production rates exceeding 1,000,000 tons of mineral per year, the application must contain an air pollution control plan that includes the following:
(a) an air
quality monitoring program to provide sufficient data to evaluate the
effectiveness of the fugitive dust control practices proposed under (b) to
comply with federal and state air quality standards; and
(b) a plan for fugitive dust control
practices as required by ARM
17.24.761.
(2) For all other strip mining operations, the application must contain:
(a) the
requirements of (1) (a), if required by the department; and
(b) the plan required by (1) (b).
