Rule 17.24.128 - INSPECTIONS: FREQUENCY, METHOD, AND REPORTING

(1) The department shall conduct an inspection:
(a) at least once per calendar
year for each permitted operation; and
(b) at least three times per year for each
active operation that:
(i) uses cyanide or
other metal leaching solvents or reagents;
(ii) has expected or ongoing acid rock
drainage; or
(iii) exceeds 1000
acres in permit area.
(2) The department shall provide copies of operating permit inspection reports to any appropriate state or federal land managing agency, if requested by the agency.
(3) The department shall provide a copy of each report to the operator.
