Rule 12.7.1105 - PROJECTS

(1) Program funding may be provided for costs of design, planning and construction of projects which will conserve and enhance fish and wildlife habitat. Potential projects may include but are not restricted to the following:
(a) Fish habitat improvement;
(b) Barrier removal or other improvements to
provide fish passage;
(c) Riparian
enhancement or protection;
(d)
Stream channel rehabilitation and stabilization;
(e) Clean up of debris and trash in river
corridors;
(f) Watershed
enhancement (sediment source abatement, grazing management systems, vegetative
development);
(g) Stabilization or
modification of irrigation diversions presently in use, including innovative
techniques not presently used in Montana;
(h) Bank stabilization (vegetative, sloping,
rip-rap).
