PURPOSE: This amendment incorporates elk hunting on department areas into Chapter 7, defaults to statewide regulations outlined in Chapter 11, removes the reference to the Fall Deer and Turkey Hunting Regulations and Information booklet, and mirrors the Wildlife Code related to black bear hunting on department areas in Chapter 11.
Elk may be hunted on department areas located within Carter, Reynolds, and Shannon counties in accordance with statewide regulations, except as further restricted in Chapter 11.
