PURPOSE: This amendment removes the requirement to carry a paper copy of the Federal Duck Stamp given the stamp has been changed to a digital version.

All permits and method exemptions shall be carried by the permittee in either paper, department-issued plastic, or electronic format. Acceptable electronic forms of permits include display of electronic images on a cellular phone or any other type of portable electronic device. All method exemptions and daily hunting and fishing tags shall be signed, and the Migratory Bird Hunting and Conservation Stamp (Federal Duck Stamp) shall be carried in accordance with federal regulations. Permits and method exemptions requiring a signature and carried in an electronic format shall display either a digitized image of a handwritten signature or some other form of an electronic signature. All permits, or temporary permit authorization number(s), and method exemptions shall be exhibited to any officer charged with the enforcement of this Code, or to any transportation company or postal employee when presenting wildlife for shipment.
