PURPOSE: This amendment reformats text for clarity and establishes regulations for a new education center in Joplin.
(1) Nuts, berries, fruits, edible wild greens, and mushrooms may be taken only for personal consumption, unless further restricted in this chapter.
(A) Taking of nuts, berries, fruits, edible
wild greens, and mushrooms is prohibited on the following department areas:
1. Cape Girardeau Conservation Nature
Center
2. Conservation Commission
Headquarters
3. Powder Valley
Conservation Nature Center
4. Runge
Conservation Nature Center
5. Shoal
Creek Conservation Education Center
6. Springfield Conservation Nature
Center
7. Twin Pines Conservation
Education Center
(B) On
Burr Oak Woods Conservation Area and Rockwoods Reservation only mushrooms may
be taken.
(C) On areas designated
by the Conservation Commission as Missouri Natural Areas, taking edible wild
greens is prohibited.
