Rule 38-4-4.1 - Qualifications for Claimants

Any person claiming an interest in any property delivered to the state under the provisions of the Act must file a claim on the form prescribed by the Treasurer. A claimant must be one of the following in order to be declared as having a valid interest in the property:
A. The original owner or an officer of a corporation or business which is an original owner or legal successor;
B. The legal representative of the original owner.
