Rule 38-3-18.4 - Beneficiary Eligibility

If the Beneficiary is named at the time the MPACT Application is submitted to the State Treasurer, the Beneficiary eligibility requirements of Rule 7.1 are applicable. If the Beneficiary is not named, pursuant to the exemption stated in Rule 18.3, when the MPACT Application is submitted to the State Treasurer, at such time as the Beneficiary is named, the named Beneficiary must meet all of the following requirements:

A. The Beneficiary must be a Resident of the State of Mississippi; or a nonresident provided that the Purchaser is a resident of the State;

B. The Beneficiary must be eighteen (18) years of age or younger;

C. The Beneficiary must have a college enrollment year which is the same year as the Projected;

D. College Entrance Date provided in the MPACT Application by the Entity; and

E. The Beneficiary must be born and have a valid birth certificate.
