To comply with the Campus Sex Crimes Prevention Act (otherwise known as the Clery Act), the State of Mississippi requires sex offenders to submit information regarding any employment, enrollment, vocation or volunteer work at any school in Mississippi to include institutions of higher learning, professional institutes, educational/trade schools, and primary or secondary schools. The offender is required to provide the name of the institution or school at which the offender is employed, carries on a vocation (with or without compensation) or is enrolled as a student.
