- by hand scoring is done by the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES) for a $75.00 fee paid by the examinee. A request for a hand scoring must be in writing to the Board, accompanied by a $75.00 check made payable to NCEES, and must be submitted within 60 days of release of the examinee's original results. The Board will review the request and submit it to NCEES. Once a request is received, NCEES will hand score using a template, and provide written notification to the Board regarding the results. No specific examinee comments will be addressed
