Rule 30-3301-1.3 - Definitions

A. Board means the Mississippi Autism Board.

B. BACB means the Behavior Analyst Certification Board® Inc.

C. Behavior Analyst means an individual who meets the minimum requirements of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst® (BCBA® or BCBA-DT), set by the BACB, and is licensed or qualifies for licensure by the Board, as further described in Rule 3.2 below.

D. Assistant Behavior Analyst means an individual who meets the minimum requirements of a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA®), set by the BACB, and is licensed or qualifies for licensure by the board, as further described in Rule 3.3 below.

E. Behavior Technician means an individual who is currently certified by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board as a Registered Behavior TechnicianT (RBTT) to provide applied behavior analysis treatments under the supervision and direction of a licensed behavior analyst or licensed assistant behavior analyst.
