Only authorized personnel possessing a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card engage in Port and vessel related activities are permitted within fenced areas of the Port, and loitering, fishing, etc., is strictly prohibited. Trespassers are subject to criminal prosecution and/or civil penalties as provided in 46 U.S.C. 70117. Any person who does not comply with the Maritime Security Directive shall be liable for a civil penalty of not more than $25,000 for each violation.

Any persons using or visiting any Port facilities do so at their own risk, and the Port Authority will assume no responsibility for injuries, claims or damages sustained.
