A. Participants making successful application for DMH Mental Health/Mental Retardation Administrator Licensure will be awarded a certificate attesting to the title of Licensed Mental Health/Mental Retardation Administrator (LMH/MRA).

B. The licensure period for the MH/ MR Administrator professional licensure program shall be a two-year period established by the Division. The first licensure period shall be January 1, 1998, through December 31, 1999. Subsequent two-year licensure periods shall be January 1, 2000 through December 31, 2001; January 1, 2002 through December

31, 2003; January 1, 2004 through December 31, 2005; etc.,

C. Certificates issued by DMH reflecting licensure as a Licensed MH/MR Administrator are valid for the two-year licensure period established by the Division. The first established deadline for renewal is December 31, 1999. Subsequent deadlines for renewal will be every other year, such as December 31, 2001; December 31, 2003; December 2005; etc. Renewal of professional licensure is required on or before the established December 31st renewal deadline in order to maintain current status.
